2024 LaSalle Strawberry Festival Highlights! 

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival takes place from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9 at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex (2121 Laurier Parkway) featuring a carnival, fireworks, parade, entertainment, and local strawberries.

Admission is $5 per person and can be purchased at the festival gates or online at www.lasalletickets.ca. Admission is free for kids 5 and under and seniors 65 +. Weekend passes are $12 per person and are available onlineonly. Weekend passes will be sold until Friday, June 7.

Festival Hours

Thursday, June 6 - 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Friday, June 7 - 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Saturday, June 8 – 11:00 am to 11:00 pm

Sunday, June 9 – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Carnival

The carnival rides, operated by Roberston Amusements, run the same hours as the festival. The carnival accepts cash, credit, and debit. Beginning on Thursday, June 6, carnival tickets can be purchased on-site only.  One ride ticket is $2.00. Rides are 1-3 tickets on average or more per ride.

Carnival specials include Toonie Night on Thursday, June 6. All rides are only $2!  Friday, June 7, purchase a $40 Unlimited Ride Pass. The pass can be used on Friday only and is available for purchase in the park.

Entertainment

There is plenty of entertainment planned all weekend long! Check out the Entertainment Schedule that includes Opening Ceremonies presented by LaSalle Town Council, the Miss LaSalle Pageant, Carson Janik, and Tayor’s Story – A Tribute to Taylor Swift. Krusher BMX Show will be offered many times over the festival weekend and is a must-see! Take in the Festival Parade on Saturday, June 8 along Front Road starting at 10:00 am.

Activities

Family-friendly, fun activities include a strawberry eating contest, strawberry planting, and the mascot dance-off where you can cheer on your favourite mascot to win!  Don’t forget to check out the dazzling Friday night Fireworks on the Vollmer Complex grounds, near the retention pond, around 10:00 pm. A great view of the fireworks can be seen from anywhere on the Vollmer Complex grounds.

On Sunday morning, the FREE Youth Fishing Derby presented by Just Fishin’ Friends and the LaSalle Police Association will be held at the LaSalle Boat Ramp at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Registration is on-site only until 10:00 am sharp.

Animals

Animals are not allowed at the festival.  Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.

Bikes and Bags

Bike Windsor Essex will be hosting a free bicycle valet service. Ride your bike to the festival and drop it off at the valet tent located near entrance #1.

All persons and bags entering the festival will be subject to security inspection. Approved bags cannot exceed 14” x 14” x 6”. No backpacks are permitted. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed. A bag check is available at the Bike Valet for $2.00 (cash only).

Parking

Festival parking is free in designated spots only.  Accessible parking spots will be available.  Parking on-site is limited. First come first served. View the LaSalle Strawberry Festival Parking Lot Map.

Transit 

Ride LaSalle Transit 25 for free from Thursday, June 6 to Saturday, June 8! The bus service has been enhanced during the LaSalle Strawberry Festival with free service and extended hours to match those of the festival. Buses will run during festival hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

A shuttle will run on Friday night to bring patrons to and from the festival for the fireworks show. The bus will travel between the Event Centre at 970 Front Road and the Vollmer Complex between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Schedules are posted on the LaSalle Transit page on the Town’s website.
