Senior Girls Volleyball
The senior girls’ volleyball team has opened the new year strong, winning seven consecutive matches, including the Essex Red Raiders tournament on Jan. 9. Leadership from seniors Audrey Strong, Maki Brigley and Alexa Beach has been key, with Beach earning MVP honours at the Essex tournament.
Junior Girls Volleyball
The junior girls’ volleyball team has shown consistent serving and hustle, contributing to a 2–1 win over Lajeunesse on Jan. 8. The team is preparing for its final opponents and looking ahead to the playoffs.
Senior Boys Basketball
The senior boys’ basketball team has been building skills through steady practices and improving on‑court chemistry. The Nobles recently defeated Erie Migration 61–44 on Jan. 13 and are aiming to continue their momentum.
Junior Boys Basketball
The junior boys’ basketball team opened 2026 with two victories, including wins over Walkerville and UMEI. The 50–45 win over Walkerville on Jan. 8 was their most competitive game of the season. Top scorers included Tristin Venske, Dilshan Phangura and Ty Martin, with strong support from Cole Brooks, Jayden Fletcher and Milan Cuckovic.
Boys Hockey
The boys’ hockey team had a strong showing at the Niagara Falls tournament on Jan. 6 and 7. The Nobles defeated teams from Dennis Morris, St. Michaels, Bishop Ryan and AN Meyer before finishing with a one‑point loss to Blessed Trinity.
Girls Hockey
The girls’ hockey team hosted first‑place L’Essor on Jan. 5. Despite a close game, the Nobles fell 5–2. Goaltender Sara Brown stood out, while Kate Mundy scored her first goal as a Noble and Chloe Lippert added another. Team captain Samantha Tucker assisted on both goals.
Swim Team
The Nobles swim team showcased its talent at WECSSAA on Jan. 14. Amelia Gagnier placed second in the 200‑metre freestyle and breaststroke, and third in butterfly. All swimmers posted personal bests, and six of the seven competitors are advancing to SWOSSA.
Legally Blonde Jr. the Musical
The BRDHS Nobles aren’t just athletes—they’re artists, musicians and performers. Arts Night and a performance of Legally Blonde Jr. will take place at the school on Friday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., with the play beginning at 7 p.m. Additional shows are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
