LaSalle Hosts Spring Fling Event

The Town of  LaSalle will be hosting a Spring Fling on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Rd.

This unique experience offers fun for the whole family. Don’t miss this one-day, indoor and outdoor event that is being held rain or shine. Take a walk or ride your bike and join in on the excitement and entertainment.

You will find us under the big tent along with local entertainer Kobbler Jay and his renowned juggling tricks, fire manipulation, and witty sense of humour. Performers also include Toronto-based Magician Spencer Scurr and Bella’s Magic Gaia.

You will be mesmerized by Hoola Hoop acrobat Bex in Motion and won’t want to miss our stilt walkers and many more unique style entertainers. Food trucks will also be on-site offering delicious snacks and treats.

“We are looking forward to kicking off the spring season, and are excited to welcome some great performers to LaSalle. Residents of all ages will enjoy the entertainment,” said Scott Bisson, Manager of
Culture and Recreation. This includes a special guest – the Balloon Maestro, Sean Rooney, who has shared his amazing balloon art in over 35 countries around the world and will be creating a mystery masterpiece
inside the Civic Centre that you will have to see to believe! We also welcome back world-class performer and world record holder Brant Matthews also known as ” The Fire Guy”. The Fire Guy has traveled the world captivating audiences using tricks and stunts incorporated with fire since 1997.

Event funding is provided in part by the Reconnect Festival and Event Program. Admission is free. All are welcome. The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is recommending wearing a mask if you cannot remain consistently two metres away from other people.
