LaSalle Police Deem Bike Rodeo a Success

The LaSalle Police Service would like to thank our community for coming out and participating in the LaSalle Police Service Bicycle Rodeo 2022.
On June 4, the LaSalle Police Service with the assistance of Bike Windsor Essex held their 25th annual bicycle rodeo where we are able to teach our young cyclists the importance of safe cycling skills and practices. The event had been on hiatus since 2019 and was attended by almost 60 participants between the ages of 2 to 15.
We would like to give a special thanks to LaSalle Towing for their donation of $2,000 to the LaSalle Police Youth Foundation which allowed us to make this event extra special.
We would like to thank Bike Windsor Essex for their assistance and instruction to our young cyclists, Canadian Tire Amherstburg for helping us out in the purchase of three bikes that were raffled off, free of charge, the Children’s Safety Village for donating several bicycle helmets which were raffled off, free of charge, Naples Pizza LaSalle for donating the king-sized pizzas, Zehrs LaSalle for donating the beverages, snacks, and supplies, our volunteers for helping out with the event, and Eric Favot for putting on an awesome BMX stunt show.
It is because of our amazing community partners that we are able to put on events such as this for our community.
