The members of Student Council at LaSalle Public School ran a fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association and raised a total of $1,000.

A group of 25 LPS staff members agreed to be “pied” for the charity fundraiser.

The purchased tickets were drawn, and students were called up to the front of the room where they could choose whichever Staff they wanted to ‘pie.’

If they weren’t one of the lucky ones to be chosen for the pie draw, they could still win some door prizes, like Detroit Tiger Tickets, a movie night, free pizza etc.

“We are so incredibly proud of the efforts of our Student Council members and our entire school family for supporting such a great cause because our mental health matters,” said LPS Vice Principal, Amy Bondy.
