Save the date for this year’s LaSalle Strawberry Festival that offers a full lineup of entertainment, a carnival, LaSalle’s cherished parade, fireworks, and food, including local strawberries of course! Organizers are busy planning the four-day festival that takes place from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway.
“My favourite LaSalle event is the LaSalle Strawberry Festival. It is our longest running event, 36 years this year, and it is the kickoff to summer in LaSalle”, said Mayor Crystal Meloche.
Businesses and organizations are encouraged to have some fun and gain free exposure by entering the LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade on Saturday, June 8 starting at 10:00 am. The route is 1.5 KM, starting at Turkey Creek Bridge on Front Road and ending at Sacred Heart Drive.
The application form is now open, and entries will be accepted until May 31. Visit www.lasalle.ca/strawberryfestival to apply online to be a part of this exciting event!
Festival entertainment headliners include Carson Janik on Friday evening, and Taylor’s Story, a Taylor Swift tribute artist on Saturday evening.
Get ready for family fun with Krusher BMX stunt team. This extreme sport entertainment show scheduled multiple times throughout the festival will leave you breathless.
