Local Pageant Queen Asking for Empties for a Cause

Ms. Windsor World Universal 2021/22, Kailey Jackson has been busy since she was given her crown in December.

The former Miss LaSalle participant (and LaSalle’s Miss Congeniality 2016) is well-known for her community participation through her fundraisers and volunteering. Her latest project is to collect empties for the LEA International Foundation.

The LEA Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports young women and girls in the community who have limited resources and are considered vulnerable. The Foundation provides scholarships to women aged 18-25 to help further their educational opportunities in high school as well as college and university.

“I want to support this foundation because it is important to empower others and give them opportunities to succeed in their education and personal goals,” said Jackson.

She said she will be accepting donations bi-weekly until May 6.

“My purpose is to spread awareness on tough topics and educate others because I strive to never stop
